It is important that all ball kids and their parents read the information below before committing to be a part of the team.
Practice Attendance Requirements:
If this is your 1st or 2nd year as a ball kid, you must be at 5 of the 7 practices offered
If this is your 3rd or 4th year as a ball kid, you must be at 4 of the 7 practices offered
If this is your 5th year or more as a ball kid, you must be at 2 of the 7 practices offered
Practice Schedule:
1:00-2:30 on Saturday Afternoons

Requirements
• Must be 12 years of age or older
• Be dressed in appropriate tennis attire for practice
• Always be dressed in your uniform when on shift with your shirt tucked in
• Pay a fee of $75.00 no later than March 1, 2025 for registration that will be sent by invoice.
ª Be able to physically stand/kneel for extended periods of time
• Be able to roll a tennis ball the entire length of a court, within a 4ft area
• Understand the rules and scoring of tennis
• Be a good listener
• Understand the role of a ball kid, in positions, nets and backs
• Do not get autographs from players while in uniform. This is subject for an immediate termination as a ball kid if you are seen doing this.
Shift Requirements
• When registering, you must be prepared to select your shifts and meet all requirements
• If you need to change a shift after registration is completed, you must fill out a form that will be emailed out to request a shift change. This will only be subject to availability and amount of people already scheduled on a particular shift.
• Qualifying shift requirements:
> 1st and 2nd year ball kids must sign up for at least one shift on March 29th OR March 30th to be a ball kid
> All ball kids in which it is their 3rd year or more, qualifying is optional but you must meet the other requirements for your shifts
• Must choose one DAY SESSION shift between the dates of Monday, March 31st - Thursday, April 3rd.
• Must choose 2 additional shifts during those dates to make a total of 3 shifts during Main Draw Play
